What difference between laminated seat and metal-to-metal seat?

Laminated seat butterfly valve is a conventional designed triple offset butterfly valve, usually a metal + graphite sealing structure. It as a most common triple offset butterfly valve in the market is known to more people. And easier to process and produce. Thebutt welded metal to metal butterfly valve is sealed with a fully metal structure made of hard alloy, which can achieve higher service life and is suitable for medium with cleanliness requirements. But due to the higher precision requirements for the sealing surface, it is relatively more difficult to process. So, the cost will be higher than laminated seat butterfly valve.
