LYV® Double Offset Resilient Seated Butterfly Valve is an outstanding industrial butterfly valve. Its core of this Double Eccentric Resilient Seated Butterfly Valve lies in the combination of a dual eccentric structure design and high-performance elastic sealing. The dual eccentric design enables the butterfly plate to quickly disengage from the valve seat when opening, significantly reducing wear and lowering the operating torque; while the special elastic valve seat can be tightly compressed and deformed by the butterfly plate when closing, achieving excellent sealing performance. This Double Resilient Seated Eccentric Flanged Butterfly Valve features high sealing performance, long lifespan, and easy operation, and is particularly suitable for water treatment, HVAC, and general industrial pipeline systems with strict sealing requirements.

What is double offset resilient seated butterfly valve?

Double offset resilient seated butterfly valve designed with a double offset whereby the disc is asymmetrical, and the valve shaft is attached at the back of the disc and a few degrees from the centerline. This design allows valve could be used for long-term serviced water supply pipeline. Sealing parts would not be damaged in a short period of time.

What’s difference between high performance and resilient seated butterfly valve?

The high-performance butterfly valve and resilient seated butterfly valve both designed by double offset. The difference between them is high performance butterfly valves are common in chemical or petrochemical industries due to its polymer or metal seat. The mediums usually are gas or some corrosive. The resilient seated butterfly valve whereby its rubber sealing, usually use for neutral medium likes clean water, wastewater. If you need valve for high temperature or corrosive medium. We would not suggest you choose resilient seat butterfly valve but high-performance butterfly valve.
